In terms of getting the best style and type of glazed extension, he noted: “I would just say make the most of the space, make it as big as you can.”
Mr Bond observed homeowners should also look to bring their gardens into any development they undertake.
Diagonal tiles, mirrors and low-level lighting can all help to make the room appear bigger, but dark and heavy furniture is a no-no.
In terms of a colour scheme for a conservatory, Mr Bond recommends soft, pastel hues, while an effort should be made to style it in the same way as any other room, despite the fact it has three glass walls.
